A. Hopf designs and manufactures highperformance medical stopcocks trusted by device manufacturers across Europe. To evaluate their performance, A. Hopf conducted internal comparative tests* with four widely used stopcocks available on the market.

Key results (under defined test conditions):

- The flow rate of A. Hopf stopcocks is on average 15% to 36% higher, including in

comparison with products marketed as “high flow.”


- Torsion tests revealed that the handles of their stopcocks are on average 12% to 39%

easier to turn, supporting smoother and more consistent handling.


- Water pressure tests showed an average pressure resistance 14% to 30% higher than

that of other products tested.


- Leak tests showed a gain of 12% to 22% compared to other products tested.
