MER Introduces New Partners

For more than 20 years, MER-Europe has been representing innovative and quality driven suppliers from both the United States and Europe. At this year's MedtecLIVE they will present products and services by Silicone Consulting, K-Tube Technologies , as well as products by their two new partners.

New with MER # 1
Schivo is a Medical Device manufacturer and life science instrument expert, providing mechanical and electro mechanical solutions – from complex components to finished device assemblies. Schivo partner with customers to build devices, implants, tools, robotics and instruments for minimally invasive surgery, orthopaedics, cardiovascular, structural heart, neuro surgery, ENT, maxillofacial and analytical life science systems.

Schivo support customers from device and analytical systems needs with a range of services from prototyping, design for manufacturing through product development, product transfers, volume manufacturing, design for assembly to full product build and test.

Schivo capabilities include:
• Additive Manufacturing: 3D printing of prototypes, tools & final parts
• Precision Engineering: Experts in precision machining and manufacturing of a wide range of materials, including metals & polymers
• Assembly: Cleanroom Electromechanical Assembly and White Room Instrumentation Assembly. Complex assemblies from testing sub assemblies to complete instruments
• Finished Devices: Fully completed, packaged and labelled medical devices. The Device History Record (DHR) is generated throughout the manufacturing process and maintained on completion of the instrument or device

XL Precision Technologies is a medical component & sub-assembly contract manufacturer with locations in Europe & the USA. XL Precision manufactures for a wide range of medical applications. Precision micro-components, complex tubular components and sub-assemblies are produced using advanced laser technology and combined micro-machining.

XL Precision offers front end development services through to fully validated production solutions to their medical device customers. Embedded in all of their development and production activities is XL Precision’s ISO 13485 Quality Management System.

XL Precision offers 3 development services, which are tailored to their medical device customer’s development needs:
• XLerator Service: Quick turn prototyping service
• Development XLerator Day: One day on site rapid development service
• 3D Metal Printing Studio: Quick turn metal printing development service
