MedtecLIVE Postponed

Due to the continued increasing spread of the coronavirus in Europe, MedtecLIVE GmbH has decided to postpone MedtecLIVE 2020 together with MedTech Summit Congress & Partnering: from the planned date of 31 March to 2 April 2020 to a date later in 2020 that has yet to be determined. The health and safety of all exhibitors, visitors and employees has top priority. In awareness of this responsibility and after careful consideration of the relevant recommendations, the management has decided to take this protective measure.

MedtecLIVE together with the MedTech Summit is the leading European meeting place for the medical technology supply chain in spring. The increased spread of Covid-19 in Europe has now led to a reassessment of the situation regarding the event in close coordination with the responsible health authorities. “Acting responsibly at this time means minimizing health risks. This applies to each individual as well as to companies and society as a whole. We hope that the industry will understand the decision to postpone the event and we thank our partners who have consistently supported this step,” says Rolf Keller, Managing Director of MedtecLIVE GmbH.

MedtecLIVE together with MedTech Summit will be postponed to a date later this year that has yet to be determined. “We are aware of the great importance of the trade fair and congress for the medical technology sector and its suppliers, but also for the many innovators in research, teaching and start-ups. That's why we are now working hard to find the best possible alternative date for the event. The goal of every trade fair must be to create a safe, positive atmosphere to enable networking and expansion of existing business relations,” continues Rolf Keller.
