In 1993, Interpower Components Ltd. (ICL), a subsidiary of Interpower Corporation, opened its doors in Bognor Regis, England, to distribute American-made power cord sets and components into European markets. In June of 1999, ICL moved to Milton Keynes, England. In 2006 a new ICL facility was constructed in Milton Keynes. ICL meets BSI and other European standards, including RoHS compliancy.

With over 20 years of service in the UK, ICL provides Europe with proprietary hospital-grade cords, continental European cords, North American 5-15, 5-20, 6-15, and 6-20 cords, and international country-specific cords with IEC connectors to ensure safe connections to the mains power.
